About Dave

David Fiedler is the author of four books to date, including a history of Missouri’s WWII prisoner-of-war camps called The Enemy Among Us; POWs in Missouri During World War II, for which he received the Governor’s Award for the Humanities. Dave has written for more than a decade with hundreds of articles to his credit. He has worked as a correspondent for the Associated Press, and his writing has been carried by the New York Times Syndicate and the Wall Street Journal Online.

Dave graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in German and Political Science, and served eight years as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He lives in St. Louis with his family.
